Information for Faculty and Staff
Dental Informatics - Technology Services (room B322) will setup your computer for the School of Dentistry network: we will configure your computer such that your data are safe from accidental damage and loss due to malicious software (viruses, Trojans, worms, etc.) or human error. In most cases the existing operating system (Windows or Macintosh OS) will be replaced with our preconfigured version; any existing data and/or settings on the hard drive will be overwritten by our installation. If the data or program settings are important they should be backed up/saved so the information can be restored after Dental Informatics Technology Services configures the workstation/laptop.
